Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx

Though recently I had little free time on my hands, I did get to download and install Ubuntu from scratch, then current version was full of some useless garbage, scripts and libraries I really didn’t need. So, I decided to install new 10.04 Ubuntu release from start. Installation process went without a single problem and it lasted less then 5 minutes. After installation everything worked out of box. No problems whatsoever with WiFi, DSL, incompatibility with kernel, non-responsive hibernation, etc ; all of which I had with previous release. Though I made them all work, it’s nice to see them all work with official Linux libraries, including support for iPod 5th generation (worked instantly in Rhythmbox) and great increase in video performance (Wine programs work like a charm). read more

Server Change

As promised, I’m out of hosting business for good, but I’ll definitely keep the domains; I still have a few projects in mind. As for some websites I’m hosting, I’ll transfer them to this server, though it may take some time, so I apologize for any inconvenience that may cause. Anyway, new server stats:
